Tour time: Pick-up in Asheville around 9:00 am, return to Asheville around 3:00 pm. Customized tour times, depending on hiking preference.
Pick-up location: Pick-up at your hotel or B&B near downtown Asheville, or a nearby convenient meeting place
Difficulty: Customized tour, from no hiking to a 6.5-mile summit hike, or 8-mile Appalachian Trail hike
Recommended clothing: Dress in layers for this tour and wear boots or sturdy tennis shoes
What’s provided: Hiking poles, water, organic picnic lunch and a poncho in case of light rain
Elk Tour option: Private Elk Tours (about 4.5 hrs long) depart in the afternoon/evening and include water and organic snacks.
